Improvised Splint #1

Something as simple as a magazine can be used to make a splint for an injured arm. This one is secured with strips of fabric, which are also tied together behind her neck to form a sling.

Keeping the arm inside the coat will make it easier to assess the injury over time and help to keep her warm. Removing the ring might also be a good idea in the event that there is appreciable swelling later on.
